The CEntrance Universal Driver is Windows™ software that unifies hardware audio interfaces from different manufacturers into one combined setup, making more audio channels available for recording and playback. You get the benefit of robust performance, low latency, and easy installation. Most importantly, you get to save money by keeping your existing interfaces — simply add more channels as you need them.
What it does
The Universal Driver allows PC users to use their audio software with multiple FireWire interfaces simultaneously. It supports up to 32 I/O channels (FireWire 400), handles both Audio and MIDI, and is compatible with sample rates from 32 kHz to 192 kHz, at 16- and 24-bit depths (free Beta Release has some intentional performance limitations)*.
Compatibility
The driver supports three major FireWire chipsets, which covers the majority of audio products in use today. On the software side, we have successfully tested the driver with Cubase and Nuendo, and are planning to publish the complete list of compatible hardware and software soon.
