Wie o wie kan mij een stukje verder helpen met m'n Wami 24??? Hieronder heb ik het e-mailtje geplakt dat ik aan EgoSYS heb gestuurd... Maar die laten nogal op zich wachten. Ik begin te denken dat het een hardware probleem is en dat ik hem terug moet brengen ...

I recently bought a WaMi Rack 24 Wave/MIDI terminal. Finally, I got the
audio to work, but i'm still having weird behaviour with MIDI.
Symptoms: When I play a note on my keyboard (connected to midi-in #1 on the
wami) the #1 LED flashes orange/green, and the others (LEDs #2-#4) flash
green. I know this can happen because sequencer echoes incoming MIDI
messages ("thru") back out. But here's the truly weird part: my WaMi behaves
like this even if the seq software is not running. It even behaves like this
when the WaMi is physically disconnected from the PCI card(!!). In fact, no
MIDI seems to ever arrive at the PCI card (for example, I'm unable to record
midi track in Nuendo, just get empty tracks. when i play a manually 'drawn'
midi part, the LEDs on the WaMi stay off.) Same behaviour occurred with
other sequencing software (i tried ableton live)
When I installed the v3.80 EgoSYS drivers, I got the dreaded Win2000
PAGE_FAULT blue screen while shutting down before reboot, the error stemmed
from wm24.sys. I reset the machine (only thing i could do), and upon
restarting Windows it found all "new" hardware like it's supposed to (e.g.
found 6 "devices": Wave 1-5 and MIDI). Windows is not reporting any hardware
confilicts. Audio, is working fine -- well, some glitches, but I expect I
can fix those by tweaking buffer/DMA settings etc. So I think the cable and
PCI card are fine (or do audio and midi signals have physically separate
channels in the cable or PCI/motherboard interface?).
I've got three devices on the same IRQ (#10): the WaMi, M$ USB controller
and WinBond ethernet card. Although I don't think it could have anything to
do with it (as I got audio working).. Should I try reconfiguring the
interrupts?
Also, I noticed that the EgoSYS website still reports compatibility w/
Win2000 (as does my paper manual) but the online manual now mentions only
Win98SE. Will it actually to work on Win2000 in the first place?
Any help is greatly appreciated, as I'm about to conclude my WaMi must be
broken, pack it all in and send it back...

Mocht iemand weten wat er aan de hand is... Ik zou in ieder geval heel graag van iemand horen hoe de MIDI-leds zich gedragen op zijn/haar (werkende) WaMi, wanneer de PC uit staat.

)... Heb je het ooit voor elkaar gekregen om zowel de WaMi als USB actief te houden, of moest je echt eerst die USB uitschakelen?
