Problemen met MPD 24

hallo heb van de week een MPD 24 gekocht. en heb het aan gesloten aan mijn computer het is een plug & play device dus het hoort zich automatisch te instaleren.mijn computer herkent wel de aparaat maar het vind geen drivers.ik heb me rot zitten zoeken naar drivers of updates of wat dan ook maar kan helemaal niks vinden en heb me best op verheugd op de mpd

ik heb windows xp professional en werkt momenteel met fruityloops, maar het ligt niet aan de sound editing programma, maar dat er geen drivers zijn voor de MPD

De MPD24 heeft geen drivers nodig. Het werkt met de standaard windows of OSX drivers voor midi. Je moet even in het lijstje van je software sequencer kijken of er USB midi device bij staat of iets dergelijks, dat is je mpd. Doet het scherm het wel verder? Zie je de presets?

nogmaals het heeft niets te maken met de programma de mpd word niet geinstaleert omdat er geen drivers word gevonden , de scherm doet het wel de mpd start wel op

I had the same problem where my Logitech web-cam driver conflicts with the Midi Keyboard (Evolution MK-425C) and thanks to various posts have solved the issue. I am now able to use the Logitech web-cam at the same time as the midi keyboard.

Initially I only had the midi device installed and it worked fine. Then, I installed the Logitech driver and the midi device was no longer recognised by Reason (my music software).

To solve the problem, I did the following:

1. Go into the registry editor (go to Start Menu, Run and type regedit)

2. Go to this location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and delete the two items "LowerFilters" and "UpperFilters"

3. Go to this location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11DO-BEC7-08002BE2092F} and delete the item "LowerFilters"

4. Go to this location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{6BDD1FC5-810F-11DO-BEC7-08002BE2092F} and delete the item "UpperFilters"

5. Move back to the root of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\

6. Launch a search (i.e Ctrl F with the option to search in "Data") and type "LVUSBSTA". For any place found (only in the "Control\Class" area), just delete the "LowerFilters" item (it is the item that contain the value LVUSBSTA found). For me, I didn't find any other places than the ones mentioned here.

7. Then uninstall the midi device driver, unplug it and plug it back in. Windows should recognise it and install it and it should work!

Thanks to all the people who posted in various forums. All I've done is summarise the bits and pieces that eventually worked for me.

installeer de driver brut van een andere midi controller
ik had een emu xboard op mn laptop staan, en toen ik de usb van de mpd erin drukte werkte de mpd direct en kon je meteen beginnen te assignen in ableton.

hey,

ik versta perfect uw probleem want ik heb hetzelfde voor gehad met een m-audio trigger finger > jammere zaak ,want ik heb hem gewoon weer verkocht via het net en een korg padkontrol gekocht. je kan er normaal nix aan doen, omdat dit toestel class compliant is en in conflict komt met uw moederbord. Ik heb mijn trigger bij 4 andere personen getest en hij werkte perfecte uitgenomen bij mij.

ik zou zeggen geluk ermee maar da's mijn ervaring ermee met dat probleem.

P.S.: Korg padkontrol lekker toestel hoor!

het heeft waarschijnelijk te maken met de driver van de logitech webcam die geeft storing aan de mpd waardoor het zich niet kan instaleren
dus ik heb geprobeerd om alles van logitech uit mijn register te halen en het nog een keer te proberen maar het lukt me nog steeds neit, het doet het wel op iemand anders zijn pc dus dat is heel erg jammer ik denk dat ik toch wel voor de korg padcontroller ga want ik heb die controllers voornamelijk nodig voor live 7

Mensen ik heb besloten om mijn mpd terug te brengen en het in te ruilen voor een korg Padcontroller ik wou de mpd gebruiken voor ableton omdat het faders had en enkele regelaars, als ik een nieuwe laptop heb dabn ga ik de mpd opnieuw kopen en dan heb ik ze gewoon alebei. toch bedankt voor jullie hulp Synthfourm Roeleerd

Hello Injoel,

Various Logitech USB cameras interfere with the proper operation of USB audio or MIDI devices which use the USB Audio Codec. This is because when the camera driver is installed, the computer tries to use it for all USB audio or MIDI devices. This driver is also not properly uninstalled if the Logitech Software is uninstalled by normal means.

The following download attached to this email contains a registry script which will remove the problematic file. Simply unzip the file and double click the file titled "LowerFilters_remove.reg." You will likely be asked by your computer whether or not to allow the action. When asked, choose "Allow"

If, for any reason, you are unable to use the script attached to this email, the following procedure will guide you through determining if you have this problematic driver installed, and will show you how to manually remove it.

1. Connect the USB device which is not working correctly.
2. Right+Click the My Computer icon on the desktop and choose "Properties".
3. In the window that opens, select the "Hardware" tab.
4. Click the button labeled "Device Manager".
5. In the list that is presented, locate the heading "Sound, video and game controllers".
6. If there is a "+" to the left of the words "Sound, video and game controllers", click the "+".

This will expand the heading so that all Sound, video and game controllers that are connected to your computer will be visible.

7. Right+Click the device titled "USB Audio Device" and select "Properties"
8. In the window that opens, select the "Driver" tab.
9. Click the button labeled "Driver Details".
10. You should see a list of the following 8 drivers:

11. If there are more than 8 items in your own list, find out which one is not in the above list, and write it down.

The Logitech driver may appear with the same name as the one pictured below:

12. Click "OK" to close the "Driver File Details" window.
13. Click "Cancel" to close the "USB Audio Device Properties" window.
14. Open "My Computer"
15. Open "Local Disk C:"

If "These Files Are Hidden" is displayed, click "Show the contents of this folder"

16. Open the "Windows" folder.
17. Open the "system32" folder.
18. Open the "drivers" folder.
19. Locate the file whose name exactly matches the one you wrote down earlier.

Your search will be easier if you select "Details" from the "View" menu at the top of the window.

20. Right+Click the file and choose "Delete"
21. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the file. Choose "Yes"
22. Restart your computer.


Your device should now be properly recognized by your software if it is not please email me back and I will help you.

succes, mijn mpd komt morgen aan en ik heb een logitech cam ..... spannend.

Edit: hij is nu al binnen, zal zo eens kijken of ik hier ook probs heb.
Edit2: Apparaat voelt steviger aan dan ik had verwacht. Via midi werkt ie perfect, ook erg makkelijk te programmeren
Dan denk ik dat usb niet eens nodig is om hem te gebruiken, mits je al een midi input hebt nutuulk. Oja, en een externe voeding.
Zal zo eens kijken naar het usb verhaal als ik een poort heb vrijgemaakt.

Geen succes mensen,de zelfde probleem blijft zich voor doen.ik wil of met midi kabels doen of het inruilen voor een pad controller,maarik heb de mensen gebeld en gevraagd naar de pad controller en ze zeiden dat het ook een windows driver gebruikt, dus ik ben bang dat het de zelfde problemen zou geven. ik kan ook gaan voor de korg microcontroller die heeft keyboard en pad's in een.

via midi werkt de mpd24 hier perfect, om alleen voor de usb probs een andere te nemen zou ik persoonlijk niet doen. Padkontrol voelde aan als speelgoed vond ik.

via usb werkt hij ook foutloos tot nu toe, plug n play idd.
Ik heb logitech drivers (clicksmart cam) geinstalleerd staan maar dat levert hier dus geen problemen op.
Er staat geen akai bij de selectie van midi app, wel "emulatie" in cubase en "audio apparaat" in apparaatbeheer.
Als ik dan ga kijken bij het bijgehorende stuurprg dan staat er tussen haakjes (akai mpd).

oke dus je raad me aan om een adapter te kopen voor de midi .kan ik ook gewoon een usb kabel met midi aansluiting gebruiken of stuit ik weer tegen de zelfde probleem aan?

mijn eerste tests waren de mpd24 aangesloten via midi op m'n tascam us 144 die weer met usb vast zit aan m'n laptop.
Geen problemen mee

Een universele adapter die minstens 500mA op 6volt dc (buiten min, binnen plus) uitgeeft is al goed genoeg. Bij de plaatselijke elektroboer zal dat max 10 euro kosten denk ik.
