Expect a full-featured Live 8 and Suite 8 workshop, special guests, free goodies - and an exciting after party with internationally-acclaimed UK DJ Lee Burridge!

Heeft de suite versie een goede meerwaarde aan live of is die overbodig?!!

Ik ben geen kenner maar het is nuttig om te weten omdat ik van fruity loops zou overstappen naar ableton.

Heb me d'r net even in verdiept, en de suite komt vooral met extra geluidsopwekkers als ik het goed begrijp. (softsynths en op sample-libs gebaseerde instrumenten)

Heb ik niet nodig. Dus als ik Live 8 ga gebruiken, en ik denk er sterk over omdat de prijs erg scherp is (350 euro voor de download versie, je krijgt er nog geen mpc-500 voor!), zal ik de "gewone" versie nemen.

Nog simpeler/beter gezegd; Suite 8 is de "gewone" Live 8 plus Ableton instruments.

Ik heb de gewone....het enige dat ik misschien een beetje mis is de sampler...maar verder vind ik m meer dan toereikend.

Ik heb gisteren de probeerversie gedownload, en het blijkt nu dat je ook de keuze hebt om deze 2 weken lang volledig zonder beperkingen te gebruiken, dus MET save en export.

Tot nu toe bevalt het goed. Vooral dat je piano-roll achtige tracks kunt maken met daaronder het drum rack... dat zit er al langer in dacht ik, maar dat miste ik vroeger heel erg in Live.

Haha. Ik ben helemaal hooked door die trial.

Ik heb altijd met reason gewerkt en dan cubase 4 voor de audio editing. Allen kga nu over op live (blijf reason wel rewiren). Het werkt ideaal. Ben er alleen nog niet zeker van of ik voor de Suite ga. Die drumcomputers en drumracks lijken me wel fijn.

Operator is opzich ook wel tof, alleen heb massive al.

Ik hoor trouwens wel eens wat geklaag over crashes, ik heb daar nog geen last van gehad. Is dat alleen(vooral) op de mac ?

Wat operator kan toevoegen t.o.v. massive is een simpele FM implementatie.

Ik vind al die plugins verder niet heel boeiend maar ook zeker weer niet slecht. gewoon bruikbaar.......

als je al met reason/massive bekend bent kun je gelijk aan de slag met die softsynths van ableton. ze hebben de typische ''ableton interface'' a.k.a simpel zonder overbodige franje, maar de geluidskwaliteit en mogelijkheden zijn verrassend goed!

Ik heb werk nu met de abelton LE 7 en zou een update willen naar abelton 8 . Kan ik die ook in de winkel kopen of is die enkel als download beschikbaar?
