I use NI Maschine, as a VST plugin. Now I also want to use it in Controller mode. THe question I have is on the bottom of this text, written bold.... the rest is only explanation.
short description of my setup:
I use APC 40. 4 tracks of it are for Kick, Snare,Hh and Perc.
All these tracks are grouped tracks, with 4 other tracks in it.
during a sing, I want to add and remove a grouped track... to add and remove sounds from that track.
i.e. I have 3 different Hihats I use... all have a seperate track, all are in the grouped track for Hh.
I want to add and remove tracks with Hihats inside the Hh track, when I want to.
To do so, I want to use my Maschine controller.
I added the right folder from maschine into ableton (like in the online manual to controll live with maschine
I can chose "maschine controller" in the surface controller section as preferences
But the strange thing is, that the lights don't synchronize with ableton.
When I midi map a Maschine PAD to a yellow speaker button in ableton, I can controll it. Also when I click the midi mapped speaker button with my mouse... on my midi controller the light turns on...
BUT... WHEN I ONLY USE THE MASCHINE MIDICONTROLLER TO TURN ON THE SPEAKER BUTTON, THE SPEAKER BUTTON IN ABLETON TURNS ON, BUT THE LIGHT ON MASCHINE DOESn:T TURN ON.
