A, The exact price is not set yet. It will be announced on this site during August. But expect the build (I.e. this kit + components) to cost $1000 without the case.

Dat is natuurlijk helemaal afhankelijk van je ervaring. Ik denk niet dat je daar een richtlijn voor kunt geven. Iemand die elke weerstand in een kleurcodetabel moet opzoeken is zeker langer bezig dan als je dat bij wijze van spreken blind kunt doen.
20 uur lijkt mij vrij veel voor een volledige pcb-mount (waar je dus bijna niks hoeft te bedraden), maar ik ga pas echt wat roepen als de definitieve specs er zijn, dat lijkt me verstandiger![]()
Het is dus niet alleen maar 1 grote PCB, er zitten wat losse modules bij. En over de moeilijkheidsgraad is dit een indicatie hoe hij 'm inschat om te bouwen op een schaal van 1-10:I'd say a module takes .5-1.5h, and there are 13 of them...
Maar verder is inderdaad nog niet alles bekend, dus nog even geduld...if a x0xb0x is a 5 this is probably a 7-8 on a scale of 1-10.
The TTSH is a 7-8 because it's a big project. The circuitry ranges from dead easy (preamp) to fairly complex (oscillator boards), and everything in between. Component selection is also fairly straight forward, practically everything is standard stuff. It's the part where you'll have to get some parts yourself, and match a dozen transistors. And then there's the mechanical stuff, you'll have to attach the big board to a panel. It's not THAT difficult, but still it's a bit tricky. So I think it's like building a x0xb0x, but there's a few obstacles thrown into the course, plus the track is much longer.
