Customer Information
The insolvency proceeding for which the management of CreamWare Datentechnik GmbH filed an application with the local court on Monday the 2nd of June 2003 was confirmed by the court on August 1st. The insolvency administrator already forwarded the court decision to the attention of our business partners and suppliers. As per several requests we received, let us explain what that court decision means.
If the court would have not confirmed the proceedings, there would have been no creditor protection and no chance for CreamWare to consolidate and continue. The recent court decision and confirmation of the proceeding enables CreamWare to continue their business and secure the business long term, which is the goal of the company and the administrator. It is important for you to know that “insolvency” in Germany is not “bankruptcy”.
Within July, the company was able to close two significant deals in their OEM segment. At the same time, several measures of cost reduction were taken. The company is now very likely to generate positive business results in the future.
All business activities are continued at full scale. Existing products continue to be developed further, new product development is ongoing as well. For example, the company will start to market their new generation of their “CUTmaster” broadcast audio editing software in September, while the WDR broadcaster in Cologne is already successfully using the new generation software for several months now. Also, the company will release several further new PlugIns for their SFP and Noah product line within the next weeks.
For you, the customer, this means: product development and support will be continued at full scale. CreamWare’s technological platform will not only be maintained, but also will be refined and expanded in order to provide continued product updates and releases.
