Hey guys,
Very quick NAMM update... will deal with all tech support messages when I have a little more time. An official press release will be on KvR in the next few days.
NEW: BFD XFL - 18+GB multi-DVD expansion pack for BFD. Includes huge range of super detailed cymbals and hi hats inc. 1/4 and 3/4 open hats, hats with mounted tambourine, two completely new kits, cowbells, jam blocks, brushed kits and marshmallow mallets. Ships in March, priced around $299. See the BFD Kit Piece threads on the board for more information.
NEW: Sol - monophonic lead / bass / performance synthesizer. A highly modular engine (analog modelling, digital wavetable, FM, physical modelling and others) under the hood drives an easy to use, performance oriented interface with a large selection of high-level tweakable presets. The patch developer kit will be made available to selected patch designers. Each Sol patch has eight edit knobs, assigned to a function or functions within the patch by the patch designer. Sol also incorporates a very sophisticated arpeggiatior and modulation generator based on the same technology as BFD's Groove Librarian. Ships in late Spring / early Summer, projected price $299 (to be confirmed).
NEW: Drum Nine, the successor to DR-008. Massive upgrade based largely on DR-008 customer feedback, including Mac OS X (AUcompatibility, in-patch VST, VSTi and built-in effects, backwards compatibility with DR-008 modules and kits, multi-gigabyte sound library including many, many sounds from Wizoo, Sonic Reality, Yellow Tools and others, sound search and browse, beat slicing, timestretch, standard MIDI file import, and too much more to list. Ships in late Spring / early Summer, projected price $299 (to be confirmed). There will be an upgrade path available to users of DR-008, again price is to be confirmed.
Regards to all,
Angus.
