king of bugs....in english this time

I thinl that i have just discovered the greatest hardest bug of all
time and this really puts a
Follow these steps carefully and let meknow if you experience the
same problem .
1)choose an effect (doesn't matter which one
2)assign a parameter of the effect to the programlfo(choose the
settings in the control menu for the amount of modulation ...this is
not so important )
3)by now you should hear the parameter being modulated by the program
lfo.......ok
4) now when you turn of the program lfo and go back to the effects
session ,if you tweak the parameter in the effect menu (the one that
has been modulated )you just do not hear anny changes ......this is
totally weird
this means that if you modulate an effect by the program and afterw
ards when you turn the program lfo of,you can't tweak the parameter
annymore (from the effects menu).....no changes in sound .
I can't believe that i have just discovered this after a period of 2
years ,me thinks that my sampler i s broke b'cause i know my sampler
inside out .........

please anyone check this out and let me know if this is a problem that concerns only me or anny (misfortuned )yamaha user ........
