JX-3P aangeschaft.

Zo... Afgelopen weekend een JX-3P gekocht
van een forumlid denk ik.

Nou, het is een leuke bak, er komen lekkere
geluidjes uit, en de programmer werkt fijn.
Hoor wel wat trapjes in de knoppen, maar dat
hindert me niet echt...

Ik moet em nog op midi aansluiten, heb er
enkel mee gespeeld met de hand...

Er moet trouwens ook iets zijn waarmee ie alleen
op kanaal 1 speelt, ipv op alle kanalen...

Hij klinkt iets zachter dan de juno 106,
complexer ook omdat je er 2 dco's hebt die je kan
syncen, enz...

Er zitten ook enkele hidden features op
deze synth, die dmv knoppencombinaties ineens
gebruikt kunnen worden...

Nou, ik vind em leuk voor erbij. Ook de programmer
is wel handig erbij. Wel jammer dat ie een beetje kort
van kabel is.

Normaal kan je de programmer en midi niet tegelijk
gebruiken, maar daar zou een truckje voor bestaan?

is idd goed gezien van je mono... (zo heeft 6 het ook wel eens gedaan)
maar volgens mij bedoeld ie een truckje waarbij je midi EN de programmer kan gebruiken

ok heres an update to my previous post about simple modifications to the jx3p. i allready discussed in my previous post about the ability to modify the resonance.. its a very easy mod to do. ok NOW here is ANOTHER easy modification to do. if you have a jx3p and a pg-200 you will notice you cant use the midi and the pg-200 at the same time due to the switch located in between the midi ports and the pg-200 programmer port.. well.. NOW YOU CAN!!! all you have to do is remove the circuit board wich the midi ports are on, take a very small screw driver and pop the chrome metal cap off of the switch. remove the black plastic lever. so the only part of the switch remaining on the board is the 8 copper prongs from the circuit board to the small dark red base of the switch. you will see 2 strips of copper on the red base. each strip has 3 small slits in them the slits seperate the "midi", "protect", and "programmer" modes of the switch. all you have to do is fill in the little slits with solder so each copper strip is solid from left to right, not cut up into 3 sections. doing this allows simultanious useage of the midi and the pg-200 AT THE SAME TIME!! and ofcoarse it will allways be protecting the memory too.... there ya go, no more complaining about not being able to twist knobs with its being sequenced externally imma make a jx3p web page fairly soon giving various modification tips with step by step instructions WITH pictures.. for the less intelligent of you. by the way my jx is soo modified it barely even resembles a jx anymore HAHA. i modified the caseing to fit the internal guts of the pg-200 dirtectly into it so now the whole right top side of the synth has knobs and levers on it, it takes ALOT of work modifying the body to allow clearance for the programmer guts tho... goto: HTTP://WWW.HYBRIDREALM.COM/JX3P.HTML for some pix of my modified jx and upcoming modification instructions!!

Een DIN achtige stekker, met wat meer pootjes dan midi...

Maar het is OF OF... OF midi OF programmen.

Maar idd, de rackversie zou dat kunnen ja...
