Elk van de acht DIY-modules wordt geleverd met een gedetailleerde bouwinstructie en kan eerst op een breadboard worden getest, zodat je elke ontwerpbeslissing kunt traceren voordat je het uiteindelijke instrument in elkaar zet.Erica Synths Konstrukt-8 beschikt over vier volledig analoge drumklanken:Kickdrum: Een resonant bridged-T-netwerk produceert diepe, krachtige kicks.Snaredrum: Een golf van gefilterde transistorruis, gelaagd over een gestemde resonator, zorgt voor een heldere, scherpe klank.Hi-hat: Zes dissonante blokgolfoscillatoren worden gemixt, gefilterd en overstuurd om een metalachtige percussie te creëren.FM-drum: Twee interagerende oscillatoren vormen een veelzijdige percussieklank die geschikt is voor kicks, toms, bellen en cimbaalachtige geluiden.Hoewel het niet de meest complete analoge drummachine is qua aantal klanken, heeft het wel het grote voordeel dat het modulair is.Elke module biedt via de CV-ingangen en routingopties een veel breder scala aan mogelijkheden in vergelijking met een drummachine met een vast signaalpad.

Two effect modules complete the Erica Synths Konstrukt-8. First, you have an analog bucket-brigade delay (BBD) with flanger and delay modes, and second, you have a diode-based compressor with sidechain capability.
You can buy the modules as a bundle or in a system with a matching Eurorack enclosure, integrated power supply, and 15 braided patch cables. And if the system proves too limited in the long run, the modules can be removed and used in a larger set.
