msgien gewoon interne batterij vervangen?
1983 MXR 185 drum computer - by Roger Linn - in near mint condition (save for
> a few light nicks on its left wooden panel), including the original box,
> manual, and laminated user card. Internally we have one problem: rapid
> successive depression of program buttons launches an electronic impediment
> heralded by the appearance of a zero in only one of the four LED display
> positions. At this point output is cut temporarily and the controls become
> unresponsive. After a short catatonia, the machine returns to some semblance

Help me buy my economics texts! I have a (partially) functioning MXR 185, cosmetically immaculate (seriously - it looks new), w/ original box, manual, and laminated user card. I need to sell this quickly, since I have just begun an economics class and the prices for books are astronomical, as most should know. All I want is $75, but I am only dropping the battery must be replaced. All drum sounds are working, but memory functions, of course, have been effected due to this problem. Each drum sound has a separate volume slider and output. A voice can be added, and one can trigger every voice remotely with simple switches, etc. I accept paypal and the machine is located in California (92336).

nog n tip
FYI While all eproms and samples (cymbal is spread across two chips I think)
the MXR does have one interesting useful analog angle. The molex pin block on
the back panel is a short to ground trigger for all the internal samples. So
you can interface it with a modular, a matrix or a pushbutton box. I also like
the "live" pitch slider. The pattern program software is just weird compared to
the TR-x0x. Tip: you can't unless you set the length first. Lorne in Canada"
