Tja, in 1984 had je wel al wat synths waarmee je zo'n polypad kon maken he. Prophet 5, Polysix, Jupitertje...enfin noem maar zowat alle polysynths van die tijd.

Mee eens, met welke software je werkt, maakt niet uit, kun je die pads makkelijk maken

The synth solo is a Juno 60 with its arpeggiator being 'triggered' for timing by a Linn Drum 2.
Richard Termini: "Staccato chords where originally done with a cheap Casio with the little keys... not much more than a calculator...the banjo setting
SHE BOP:
Richard Termini and Peter Wood (RIP) played the synths on this track. Termini used a 2-voice and Prophet 5 Rev 3 while Wood handled a Memorymoog. The actual bassline is a stack of bass guitar and
double-tracked 2-voice. The P5 is responsible for all the plucking and higher harpsi sounds as well as the fat horn lead that plays with the whistle sound (which was played by Wood on the Memorymoog).
The Obie provides the main bass lines that sound sorta like big Saxs.

Alleen het nummer van Cindy Lauper is van 1984 en de JXP kwam pas eind '85 begin '86 op de markten toch hoor ik een jx10P! kan gewoon geen memorymoog zijn, ie zijn nooit zo lang in tune toch? vraag maar aan jarre

Geloof best dat het een Juno 60 is. Als het op een oude kleurende studio console is afgemixed met veel gedraai aan de knoppen kan het geluid best een hoop afwijken van wat wij horen als we onze Juno 60 anno 2012 in onze homestudio bespelen.
