Virus|HC Librarian Editor AudioUnit & VSTi plugin, our answer to your prays. (HC = Hardware Controller). After several years ago, Access Music introduced their Virus TI synth range, which was boosted up with massive features such as audio stream directly into your DAW via USB and also the Virus plugin. Due to these great features, the most loved editor & librarian program “SoundDiver” was forgotten and many Virus users instantly upgraded to Virus TI and perhaps forgot their Virus A, Virus B or Virus C synth. Well, it is time to pick those synths up, connect the PSU, audio and MIDI cables! We created the Virus|HC plugin to meet the standards required for DAW-working environments: Edit your Access Virus hardware synth directly from your DAW without flipping thru different applications, organize patches within your plugin window to load, edit and save them directly to your HDD. You can run our plugin in Mac AudioUnit & VSTi format and PC VSTi format (both 32 & 64bit).
Plug-in Details:
- Control your Access Virus hardware synthesizer from your DAW over MIDI.
– Organize and manage your patch library.
* Move patches from one bank to another and save as you like.
* Download and put all of the Virus soundsets in one folder for quick access through the plugin.
* Librarian supports MIDI and SysEx soundset formats across all models.
* Store banks to Virus from the librarian.
* Store single patches to Virus from the librarian.
* Request banks from Virus to the librarian.
* Request single patches from Virus to the librarian.
* Select next or previous librarian patch from hardware.
* Select next or previous patch from hardware via librarian.
– Control up to 16 parts of your Virus from one plugin.
* Each part can have its own patch.
* Each part patch name can be set from the plugin window.
* Each part has its own parameters which you can automate from your DAW.
* Changing part from plugin changes part in hardware and vice versa.
* Layer multiple patches to create massive leads or such.
* Mute, adjust levels, panning, outputs and suchs from the plugin, per channel.
– Automate almost every parameters from your DAW.
* Parameters that are available for automation will be listed on your DAW. (Ableton Live can’t see our parameters, so you have to teach it).
* Easier to handle automations than trying to remember hundreds of #CC’s.
– Total Recall of the sounds used up on project reload.
* All of the current parameters from the plugin will be sent to the hardwares temp memory up on project reload!
* Time saver when thinking about storing, naming and loading data from multiple hardwares per project.
– Control almost every parameter that is available in your Virus.
* We added a bit more than 5000 parameters to the plugin (16 parts) so the sound editing should be painless and quick task.
* Plugin reacts to hardware knob movements and displays knob, slider, menu and button values within the plugin display.
– Virus model selector in “multi settings” page allows to show the parameters which are available to your Virus model.
* Virus A -> TI2 supported!
Plug-in is now available in following formats:

What it won’t do:
– Transmit any audio (YES, YOU NEED THE REAL SYNTH!!!)
Known limitations:
– As a part of Windows operating system and it’s structure, it is not possible to share same MIDI device between different applications. You need to disable MIDI terminals with-in your DAW that you want to operate with-in our plug-in. Check more details at our forum.
