midi retrokits meer gaat produceren.

Kwam net op de Kenton site het volgende tegen:
Kenton MIDI retrofit kits
Regrettably it has been necessary to increase prices across the extensive range of
retrofit kits. Due to the low volume of demand, wide variety of synthesisers supported
and in some cases rarity of components, it is no longer economic to hold each and
every one of these items in stock. We will be phasing out the less popular kits as and
when stocks of parts for them are exhausted, however we will continue to supply the
following kits for the foreseeable future:
Korg Polysix & Monopoly; Memorymoog (and plus); Oberheim OB-X, OB-Xa, OB-8;
Prophet 5 all revs; Roland Juno 6, Juno 60, Jupiter 4, Jupiter 6, Jupiter 8; Yamaha
PF-15; Minimoog; Roland TR-808; Oberheim DMX
all other kits should be considered to be a LAST TIME BUY.
We will probably be making one last run of Yamaha CS-50, CS-60, CS-80 kits - if you
have been thinking of buying one of these kits, this is your last chance! (18/09/2001)
Where still available, we will continue to supply MIDI retrofits on a made-to-order basis
only, however kits must be paid for at the time of order and orders are non-cancellable.

Die kits dienen om 'oude' synths te midificieren (of zoiets) en aangezien oude synths niet meer worden gemaakt (anders zouden het geen oude synths zijn
) en intussen toch al heel wat oude synths gemidificieerd zijn, lijkt het me logisch dat de vraag kleiner wordt.
