An extraordinary Australian synthesizer has arrived at SynthTemple. This incredible instrument was built by Chris Harold in the early 1980's based on the circuits of the ETI 4600 synthesizer project. It was re-cased and massively upgraded by Chris some years later and a new front panel and aluminium case were fabricated. It has 8 VCO's, 4 resonant filters, all switchable between low-pass and high-pass and it has a custom pin type patch panel. The modifications were made for live used and added a custom pedal board that also contains a set of programmable drum pad trigger inputs. It has a comprehensive programmer system and many, many features. It's soon to make a visit to the SynthTemple tech room for a thorough service and calibration and installation of MIDI before going into service in studio 1.
