Hoi C-Klein,
Ik heb ook nog wat verder zitten speuren op het internet naar de PC3Le en het volgende kwam ik tegen op Sonikmatter.
Het bericht is van feb 2008 en komt van Dave Weiser van de R&D afdeling van Kurzweil. Bericht (samengevat):
Hey folks
Someone just sent me a note, greatly alarmed, that there were people on this forum talking about a "PC3LE". ....
Have I ever told you guys about a PC3LE, especially recently?
NO. Doesn't exist. No such thing. Forget about it. Cast that idea to the bottom of the ocean in your minds please.
Not sure where it came from... probably an over-excited sales type who had some kind of preliminary list of proposed products from a while back.....
When it comes to PC3 related stuff, unless you here it from me, disregard it.
Our Korean office did mention at NAMM doing a "PC Light", which is supposed to be a more full featured SP2, using our new chip to deliver an enhanced PC1 type of product.
This would fall into our low-mid end range. Nothing to do with the PC3.
Right now there are only 2 products which use the PC3 platform - the PC3x (8

and the PC3 (76).
...... If a retailer is talking about this fictitious PC3LE product, please let me know.

Help us help you.
Seriously, I will always do my best to make sure that you guys are the first to know about new products. ...... Right now I am waiting to hear if we got approval for a rack and for a 61 note version. No official news yet, but if there IS going to be news, THAT's what it'll be about.
For now and the immediate future, we have the 88 and 76. ...
Hugs and Kisses,
Dave
