What’s new in the 01X Firmware V1.03
The issue whereby the 01X does not lock to its internal word clock if switched by loading a Graphic Patchbay template file that specifies internal operation for word clock, whilst the 01X is locking to an external word clock source, is now addressed.
New in this mLan update:
• Added template load/save feature for Graphic Patchbay.
• The mLAN driver fully supports Hyper Threading. If you turn on the Hyper Threading on your computer, you can reduce the load factor from them LAN Driver.
• Average CPU load for typical case systems is reduced. Percentile reduction varies from system to system.
Known issues with 1.5.1:
1: Port enumeration: The Windows XP Graphical Patchbay presents a maximum of 8 MIDI out ports and 17 MIDI in ports, which means that more than two S400 mLAN devices (i88x,01X, mLAN16E) full MIDI connectivity is impossible. This is due to the current Windows driver model and is being addressed for a future update. The current driver model enumerates 8 MIDI ports per devices, even though they may use fewer than this in reality.
2: Template load to devices with fewer ISOC channels. (The number of ISOC channels decide how many number of mLAN devices you can connect to/from PC. The number depands on OHCI chip on your PC or IEEE1394 cards.) Some PC OHCI compatible IEEE1394 cards feature a total of 8 ISOC channels to the mLAN Buss driver (Isoc = Isochronous send or receive channels). If a template has been made which involves multiple connected devices to the PC on this type of device, and then it is loaded onto a PC with fewer ISOC channels (For example TI based cards typically feature 4 isoc channels whilst some VIA chipset devices feature

, the template load may report errors. Please reduce the number of simultaneously independent connected devices to the computer if this is the case.
