Hier kan je een 800DV beluisteren, dat schijnt er relatief niet al te ver vanaf te staan:

Ik heb hier een korg 770, en dacht dat die met name op de 800 DV leek. De 900 heeft toch ook heel andere filters ?
I always knew the 800DV was like a dual Mini-Korg 700, but in fact i think it's a dual Korg 770.
Over de 700s: "The model 700s is the second synth released by Korg back in 1974. This sibling of the 800DV "MaxiKorg" is the predecessor of the much rarer model 770 and features the same weird control system as those other models."
Over de 770: niks dat van toepassing is...
Over de 800DV: "Unusual model in all respects, two independent 700s synths in one box..."
Over de 900PS: "Vintage monophonic preset synthesizer is more or less a cut-down version of the fabled 700S."

Thus, in 1973, using many of the basic design concepts of Mieda's organ, the company introduced the Mini-Korg, a monophonic synthesizer. Based on the success of the Mini-Korg, Katoh committed substantial resources to the development of other synthesizer products. Between 1973 and 1977 the company developed dozens of new keyboards carrying the Korg brand name. 1975 saw the introduction of the Maxi-Korg and the 900 PS polyphonic, preset synthesizer. A year later, the PE-1000 (Polyphonic Ensemble) and PE-2000 (Polyphonic Ensemble Orchestra) were unveiled. The PS-3300 followed in 1977 and, like the MS10 and MS20 which were introduced in 1978, is still coveted by artists in the dance and techno genres.

Mijn Odyssey is uit 1972 en duophonic!
Now, before you leap in, shouting that other mid-'70s dual-voltage synths allowed you to play two notes simultaneously, I should point out that instruments such as the ARP Odyssey used the same sound-shaping parameters for both voices. None of the 800DV's competition could produce two completely independent patches that you could play as either a complex composite or as two completely independent synthesizers. But this was still only half the story, because the 800DV's unique Key Transpose and Repeat panels offered 20 voice-allocation modes that allowed you to deploy the voices in a huge variety of ways.

heren,
