Ja idd dat lijkt mij ook. via een buffer dan. Maar zodra het direct in RAM geldaen word lijk mij met wavetables een hogere polyphony met meer waves per tables die makkelijk realtime te scannen zijn.

Maar met multisamples is dat denk ik een ander verhaal als je die realtime moet aanspreken.

Of denken jullie dat snelle SD met een buffer daar voldoende voor is?

Ik heb me er ingeschreven voor twee, dus ik denk dat ik die samen in een panel ga klussen (en eigenlijk vind ik een 32TE panel daar ook wel okee voor).

Yup! echt een mooie toevoeging, gezien ik er 1 tot gitaar-effecten/loop-station wou ombouwen.

Helaas zijn deze plugs niet echt makkelijk te krijgen .. toch maar zelf iets in elkaar knutselen dan maar.

True, maar meestal zijn die uiteinden niet zo lang. Dan leek me die 'splitter' wat handiger omdat ik dan verder gewoon andere jack kabels kan gebruiken.

Achja, ik merk wel hoe het geheel in m'n setup gaat passen

Ground loop noise solved
The solution for the ground loop noise problem is validated. As a bonus, the new output circuit is now capless DC-coupled. In practice this means the frequency response extends to 0 Hz on the low end, and the distortion is reduced.

Production schedule
Everything is converging now towards the final steps of production: All components have been delivered. Bare PCB's came out of production and are on their way to the assembler. Surface mount assembly is planned early next week. After surface mount assembly comes manual through-hole component stuffing, wave soldering, testing, packaging and shipping. I expect to start shipping by the middle of next week, and have everything shipped by the end of June.

Pick and place machines were programmed today and a test batch of 4 panels was assembled today. Every panel is 6 Axoloti Core's. Everything is in place to produce panels at a rate of around 30 panels in an hour. Tomorrow I will do the final verification for hardware errors, before producing the full batch. After the SMD assembly, there is still through-hole stuffing (connectors), wave soldering, test, and packaging before shipping out.

Helaas wel iets met de output:

I have discovered one issue in the board design: plugging a mono jack into the stereo output jack (shorting out the right channel) causes serious distortion in the left (mono) channel. Everything is fine when using a stereo-to-dual-mono splitter cable, that has always been the intended use for the stereo output. Solving it means scrapping all boards and ordering new boards and that will cause almost 4 weeks of delay.
What do you think: go ahead as-is or not? Please comment!

Ik gisteren, maar helaas....een driver probleem. uren pielen geen succes.

Axoloti core USB divice is zichtbaar, maar de software herkend de PID niet.
Hopelijk kom ik eruit via de axo community.

Benieuwd of jullie wel succes hebben.
