Novation super bassstation analoog of VA?

Waar komen toch die geruchten vandaan dat een novation superbassstation Virtueel Analoog zou zijn? Het is toch een volledig analoge synth of niet?

geen idee? hij is toch echt annaloog als ik deze geweldige site mag geloven..

Volgens mij is hij ook gewoon analoog. Toen de opvolger, de A-station, kwam is hij volgens mij VA geworden.

Nu vind ik dit:

Novation did exactly 2 analogue small liveable synthesizers. the bass station and the super bass station. the bass station was a nice sounding small synth with a nice little 2oct. keyboard. 2 OSCs 1 LFO and a 12/24dB/oct LPF filter and 2 ADSRs for modulation (VCA,VCF) both modes: single and multiple trigger. also as 1unit rack incl. knobs and CC controllable. it HAS memory, but it's 7 , no more..

the super bassstation adds another LFO and effects and more memory. it has PWM and a nice subOSC and as said 2 LFOs. with it's 150 ram sounds it has a lot more features to "superize" the bass station concept.. both monophonic of course.. you can mod pwm by envelope.

the same case was used for the VA drumstation (808 and 909 simulated digtally) and the a station and successors..

Betekent dit nou dat die digi-waveforms heeft :confused:

Wat kan ik niet horen? Of de oude bassstation vco had? Hoe moet ik dat horen als ik er geen heb?

Wat ik bedoelde te zeggen was eigenlijk een beetje flauw.

Iedereen heeft het altijd over dat analoog warmer klinkt en mooier en ronder en weet ik veel wat. Dus je zou het dan inprincipe niet hoeven op te zoeken want een geluidsdemo zo dan volstaan.

Nou ja... ok... maar of je het verschilt nou hoort tussen DCO en VCO...? Behalve dat een VCO ontstemd kan raken...

Maar volgens mij zijn zowel de Bassstation als de superbassstation met DCO en dat valt toch onder analoog en geen VA?.

Ik heb ze beiden; klinken exact hetzelfde en anders dan de novation Nova, maar het zijn beiden zeker geen VCO's; ze zijn retestrak.

Ik zal 'm eens openschroeven en kijken. (de KB)

Volgens je stukje zijn de BStations iig analoog en is alleen de drumstation en al het latere spul ASM. Dat ASM logo staat ook niet op de Bassstation of op de Superbasstation; daar staat wel 'Analogue' op.
