Ja dat zijn twee verschillende dingen.
De MPC soft/hardware (firmware) is van versie twee naar drie (beta) gegaan.
De 'oude' MPC live II wordt binnenkort vervangen door de MPC Live III.
Deze laatste is dus een compleet nieuw hardware ontwerp.

Wow...maar de software blijft hetzelfde..ik vind hem er juist wel tof uit zien.
Maar ik heb tot nu toe met de key 37 nog nooit het geheugen vol gekregen , laat staan als je 8 GB ter beschikking heb,
De Polyend play + kan maar 24 MB aan samples kwijt, en dat is vaak net te doen.

Wat ze hadden kunnen doen is de speaker aan de bovenkant plaatsen en de sequencer onderaan. Nu zitten je handen steeds voor het geluid wat soms irritant is. Ik heb hetzelfde met m’n MacBook Pro. Als ik aan het typen en ik luister muziek, dan verandert het hoog af en toe of valt een beetje weg, afhankelijk van de plaatsing van m’n handen. Over de kleurtjes ga ik het hebben. Dat is, zullen we maar zeggen, smaakgebonden…

Even doorklikken, dan zie je alle data die inMusic aan heeft moeten leveren en foto's van de internals (waar je weer veel leuke details uit kunt opmaken).
Blijkbaar nodig om goedkeuring voor de USA markt te kunnen krijgen.
Als alles klopt wordt dit wel een dikke upgrade t.o.v. de gen1 hardware.
8Gb ram en een nieuwe processor ( Rockchip RK3588 4 +4 core SOC (quad-A76 + quad-A55) uit 2022) die weer een aantal jaren mee moet kunnen qua specs.
Benieuwd of ze nu van alle plugins ook 'hi def' versies gaan releasen, of hoe ze met compatibiliteit om zullen gaan.
Verkoop van plugins lijkt me lucratiever dan verkoop van hardware boxen.
Ze zullen mogelijk wat functies toevoegen, als je de knoppen bekijkt.
Online wordt natuurlijk druk gespeculeerd en wordt het een 'Force + MPC' genoemd door het hele clip launch gebeuren wat deze 'zou kunnen' gebaseerd op de labels van een aantal knoppen.
Ik ben benieuwd wat er uiteindelijk van over blijft als de rumorook om onze hoofden is verdwenen.
